Welcome to texascollegetennis.com

Welcome to texascollegetennis.com, the new source of information for collegiate tennis across the Lone Star State. Over the next few months and in the coming years, we hope to become your conduit to the college tennis world.

In this blog, we will feature news on players, coaches, teams from NCAA Division I all the way to JuCo.

This is a great time for tennis in Texas, especially at the collegiate level. In Division I, Texas, A&M, Baylor, Rice and TCU are all playing great tennis on the men’s and women’s side. Heck, even Tech upset A&M last week. Division II has St. Edward’s and Abilene Christian achieving and Trinity is always Trinity in D-III. In the JuCo ranks, Texas schools always seem to dominate. Tyler, Temple, Lee and Laredo have all won national championships in recent years.

In this blog, we will also attack the tough topics like foreign involvement and Texas players being recruited (or not) by the Texas schools. We will also make some time for those players from Texas who have elected to play out of state.

So I hope you enjoy the site and please stay tuned for our progress.
