The Fall season continues this weekend and the biggest event appears to be the Ninth Annual Baylor HEB Intercollegiate Invitational. There should be some awesome tennis with several top-ranked teams and players coming to play. Of course this weekend also marks the second wild card tournament for the 10sPortal.com $15k that will take place in Austin in a few weeks.
I am guessing both tournaments will get played despite the fact it has been raining almost continuously since Monday along the Central Texas corridor. We welcome the rain considering the last time we actually saw some was during the NCAAs in May… we kid not. Well this front will likely move through in the next day or so and present wonderful conditions for the weekend.
I will try to keep up with the various action wherever it may be (the Rice Invitational will host the ladies this weekend too), but may be limited to press releases due to a family situation that requires my attention.

They get a great taste of what it is all about, playing great teams and great coaches. We are lucky to have this event here. I think it is going to showcase some of the best players in the country and it is a wonderful opportunity for our guys.”
